Sägen is expanding its selection, with a collection of our own!
With inspiration from the graphic patterns from the 50ies and 60ies that we love so much, we have now created our very own porcelain pieces.

The idea of creating our own unique patterns is something Sägens designer, Elin Sigrén, has been thinking about since the brand started in 2007. She wanted to make retro patterns with a modern pallet - a marriage between old and new.
The colours range from bright red and pink to chocolate brown and olive green, and the pieces come in many shapes and sizes.

Meet The Bernadottes!

This fantastic, one of a kind, bracelet features the King and Queen of Sweden, Prince Carl Philip and Crown Princess Victoria as children.
The porcelain is from a collectors plate to celebrate the first birthday of Carl Philip. The bracelet is made of brass.
We will be putting it up for sale on our website today - there is only one, so the early bird gets the royal worm!

Welcome to the saga of Sägen!

Sägen Fall/Winter 2011
Fall is just around the corner, and an exciting one it is. Sägen will be opening its very own store in Copenhagen, and we'll be visiting some fantastic fairs in Europe.

2011 has been a year of expansion for Sägen. Soon you will be able to find our jewellery in prestigious stores such as R.O.O.M. in Stockholm as well as Anthropologie and Fenwick in
London. This fall we will also be opening our very own boutique/showroom in central Copenhagen.

At the same time that Sägen is expanding we’re always taking extra care of the workmanship.
For us it’s just as important to please the single customer that wants to make a necklace from the old family china as it is to collaborate with other designers and companies. Just as every piece of porcelain is unique, every client is equally rare and important to us. Even more great news: our
jewellery will now be available in a lovely golden brass. Suits perfectly for the warm autumn
colours!

For months we've been gathering our best porcelain and taking hundreds of new photos. Oda, Sägen's trusty assistant, has developed almost an unhealthy interest in the porcelain - researching designers, stamps and factories which we now hope will give you an extra understanding of the pieces.
